A little run down, quiet but friendly place. Didn't eat

Owner of the restaurant mocked my dietary restrictions and insulted me publicly. Bad experience. She asked invasive questions and accused me of not being able to get adequate nutrients. Like dude I'm just vegan. I understand not having a lot of options, but she was so immature and disrespectful. Would not recommend.

So Turtle Jack's has decided to ditch the whole "Cottage " theme and go with a more sleek steakhouse vibe. This location is located in Erin Mills Town center near the main entrance. It's part of the whole refacing and rebranding of the mall as it was dying a slow death ( Sq1 is only 10 minutes away) .

Great Lunch!

Small boat rentals, 'down-home' cooking and country-style service...hard to believe it's that close to Kanata! Whether you want to get on the water for fishing/fun, or enjoy a semi-greasy meal, this place is worth checking out (especially if you want to escape the City but not the outer- limits!) Chuck & Sylvia, and the rest of the staff will make you feel at home and wanting to come back. Yes, you can even fly there (via seaplane!)

A relatively unknown place if you don't live in the area. Worth the drive out to see out by the water and enjoy some good food. Quaint and small on the inside and the patio isn't big, but the views are perfection. Staff were both helpful and friendly. Great way to spend a sunny morning.

They have great food with a fun and relaxed atmosphere, plus the view of Constance Lake and the float planes landing and taking off is truly unique! We love returning time and time again.

Rented a boat from these guys. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Best motorboat rental prices I've found! Didn't get to try the food, but look forward to it next time!

Great place to stay and eat.

The breakfast is excellent, the view of the lake is wonderful, the decor has that small town rustic feel.

AN EMPTY PARKING LOT AFTER HOURS ON A SUNDAY & THE DUDE DEMANDS THAT WE PAY HIM $5 TO PARK... HIS PROPERTY... SO... I PARK ON THE STREET. HE MAKES A SCENE AND MAKES FUN OF ME TO HIS FRIEND FOR NOT PAYING HIM $5 TO USE A PUBLIC BOAT LAUNCH... WHICH JUST HAPPENS TO BE BESIDE HIS HOUSE... TROLL AT THE BRIDGE? CAPITALIZING ON PEOPLE THAT JUST HAPPEN TO PASS BY HIS HOME? VERY ... VERY... STRANGE... DUDE SHOULD RELAX AND ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE LAKE ... NOT HIS PARKING LOT...

Most folks don't know this place even exists. The owners don't advertise but offer a beautiful spot on the lake with great well cooked food. As you enjoy your meal, you can see seaplanes landing and taking off on the lake and in the winter the activity of folks around ice huts.

Great classic breakfast at an economical price.

The lodge is a beautifully decorated. We had breakfast. Probably some of the best pancakes I’ve tasted in a while. The standard breakfast options are available and this is one of a few places which is able to get eggs exactly as you as for. The restaurant is very clean and does seem like a local hot spot.

Amazing good and great people who run the restaurant! Been going there since 2008 and the food has always been incredible! I suggest trying their club sandwich, an absolute staple!

As expected, a small quaint place to have breakfast. Not the best food, not the best prices. But nice view and service. Nice place for a Sunday brunch.

Sylvie & Chuck do a fine job of making their guests well fed, well looked after and, if they arrive by seaplane, well serviced. If you want to rent anything from a kayak to a seaplane, this is the place!
